As our Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our storytelling, championing our communications and crafting compelling narratives that align with our business strategy and bolster our reputation.
Key Responsibilities
As our Strategic Communications and Stakeholder Manager, you’ll be at the heart of our storytelling, championing our communications and crafting compelling narratives that align with our business strategy and bolster our reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Communication Develop and execute a corporate communication strategy to engage and inform diverse audiences about Go-Ahead, enhancing our reputation.
- Content Creation Write and edit blogs, press releases, and social media content. Oversee the production of multimedia content including photography and video.
- Media Relations Build and maintain relationships with journalists, bloggers, and influencers. Pitch stories and manage media inquiries.
- Internal Communications Contribute to internal communication channels, such as newsletters and the intranet, ensuring our employees are informed and engaged.
- Digital Presence Develop a content strategy for our social media channels, growing our digital following on LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Collaboration Work closely with public affairs, marketing, HR, and investor relations teams. Support crisis communications and assist with speeches and briefing notes for senior executives.
- Experienced Communicator You have a strong background in corporate communications, either in-house or at a PR agency, with a talent for media relations.
- Content Savvy Proficient in creating engaging content for websites and social media.
- Exceptional Writer Your writing, editing, and proofreading skills are top-notch.
- Team Player You collaborate effectively and can influence colleagues across the business.
- Innovative Thinker You bring creativity to your work, using channels like video, animations, and podcasts.
- Flexible and Pragmatic You adapt easily and thrive in a hands-on role.
- A university degree or equivalent is desirable but not essential.
