I am a new weekend volunteer at the Ronald McDonald House of Fort Worth. I help out wherever I am needed and ensure that all the families feel at home while they are away from home. I have always liked giving back not only monetarily, but with my time as well. Nothing feels better than to help others in need. I was raised with the belief that there is no better reward for your soul than to help others when you are able and to always pay your good fortune forward.

I was a Court Appointed Special Advocate for abused and or neglected children who don't have a voice. I went to Child Protective Services to work with the social workers and families so that I could give the Children's Court Judge my best and most fair assessment of the situation. While I felt it was a good cause to champion, I cannot say it was easy to do.
