“Saakshi was an exemplary student in the Master of Architecture Program at the University of Cincinnati. In her first semester at UC, Saakshi took my professional development course in preparation for her first co-op assignment, and then we met after each of her four month co-op work assignments to go over evaluations and next career steps. Her work was praised as she was impressive at each of her co-op assignments. She is a person who pays attention to detail, but understands the big picture as well. She is thoughtful in what she does and her actions reflect a high level of professionalism, and is poised to have a productive, creative and fruitful career.”

The inaugural strategy provides a roadmap for preparing the city for new challenges and promoting actions related to inclusive growth, climate, smart cities, health, and equity.
Resilient DC is the outcome of a robust process lasting nearly two years, and which has resulted in a deeper, cross-sector understanding of some of the District’s most important challenges. In total, more than 100 community leaders and subject matter experts contributed, in addition to the 1,100 residents, from all eight wards, who shared their ideas for building resilience. -
