Today we celebrate a significant milestone. Two years ago, Linksports demonstrated the feasibility of a new scouting and peer-to-peer sponsorship model in Global sports. After months of effort from opps teams in Brasilia (the Capital of Brazil), São Paulo, and the IT & management in Toronto, and before an audience of players, parents, football trainers, performance analysts, scouts, and coaches, the launch at the FIFA class stadium Arena Mané Garincha on April 16, 2022, was a resounding success. We had achieved 8,5k downloads of an App, still in its embrionic stage, (over 280% of our initial target). The MVP was just a day old, and we already had 42,000 link activations, 4 million Impressions, six major league scouts added to the ecosystem and a proven CAC in the football market (the lowest cost of client acquisition in Brazil). Most importantly, scouts had already selected four talents for further evaluation. Based on video analytics, AI, the power of social media and multiple football challenges, the "digital combine" (Peneira-Digital LINKSPORTS) was proven scalable in its premiere. All of these achievements by the first day of operation. The first stage of the “rocket” had proven liftoff. Was it a perfect trajectory? Not so much, but it was an excellent starting point for a journey of perseverance, learning from mistakes, pivoting, aggregating partners and creating a community of empowered fans that can today funnel from 15 countries their "micro-sponsorship" investment to a football player in Brazil and soon in 4 other countries. For the first time, a Canadian startup has landed in the field of Football, the heart of the Country of Football with over 40 million players: Brazil. Linksports, emowering fand Connecting Players.

Womens football has proven to be a catalizer of impactful agendas and its biggest event must address it, namely when it comes to a country that faces so many social and environmental issues. I call our community, local and globally, to start planning now on how to use the visibility and investments that come with hosting a FWWC to put light on subjects like LGBTQIAP+ discrimination, racism, violence against indigenous people, climate change and others. As our biggest inspirational leader Billie Jean King says, we only know what inclusion means when we feel excluded. We've been there, we are still overcoming it, but we have reached a place where we can - and must - raise others up. I believe in the women leading the ecosystem of womens football in Brazil. We are a true force of change. We won this bid because of it - we care for others, we challenge the status quo, we value diversity. Lets go for it! - - - 🇧🇷 UMA GRANDE RESPONSABILIDADE!
