As a breast cancer survivor, I am passionate about supporting breast cancer research and causes. I co-founded the Medtronic Marvels as a competitive paddling team that competed annually in the Lake Superior Dragon Boat Racing. We placed in the top 10 in our inaugural year and became classified as a competitive team for our 2nd year. Due to a relocation, I was unable to compete with the team in 2019. The group disbanded in the midst of COVID.
