Helping quiet leaders, and those who lead them, raise their voices, share their ideas, and contribute in ways that lead to success – for themselves and their organizations. Executive & Leadership Coach | Speaker | Author
Did you know. . . Employees who feel their voice is heard are 4.6 times more likely to feel empowered to perform their best work? For far too long, the input of all employees at an organization has not been valued in the same way. Leadership has tended to hear only the loudest voices, the ones who speak out at meetings. The ones who show “leadership potential.” But that has kept crucial voices out of the conversation—quiet leaders whose input and perspective can add value and expertise to problem solving and staff development. And it is increasingly clear that companies with unengaged employees are less productive, innovative, and profitable. According to Salesforce, companies that incorporate a broader range of perspectives into their decision-making and strategy consistently outperform their competition. These companies generally have greater gender and ethnic diversity and more accurately reflect the diversity of society. Inviting more perspectives to the table—whether those employees are introverts, from a community that has historically been marginalized, or both—is mutually beneficial. In my work, I help aspiring introverted leaders, and their managers, connect with their voices and values to bring their ideas and vision to life. If this is resonating with you, and you’d like to know more about how I can support you or your organization, please send me a message! #EmergingLeaders #Introverts #Leadership #RisingLeaders #StepUpAndStandOut

One common oversight that many leaders make is inadvertently neglecting their top performers. The instinct to focus on rectifying problem areas often takes precedence. But this overshadows the contributions of these key individuals. Given the workforce shortages and rising disengagement, it's critical not only to recognize but also to empower your champions. In healthcare, empowering champions leads to better outcomes, enhances team dynamics, and drives innovation. Here are a few strategies for effective empowerment: • Grant autonomy in decision-making • Provide resources; remove obstacles • Support career development/growth These measures increase job satisfaction and retention, creating a more engaged workforce. #healthcare #leadership #empowerment #leadershipdevelopment

CEO of Moementum, Inc. || Helping leaders, business owners, and entrepreneurs tackle their stickiest challenges: culture, people leadership, and team dynamics.
It is hard to scale a company. I’ve been at it 22 years and it is still hard. My team and I had an off-site Advance (a better word than retreat) this week to plan 2024. We brainstormed the beliefs that drive us, revisited our 3 core values, explored how we serve our ideal customer, and built our trust, cohesion, and clarity. A colleague took this photo and it captures the feeling of the work. That’s me on the left, listening, thinking, building space for the team and I to move tomorrow next level. We did the work we ask clients do to build culture, align teams, and lead. We walk the talk because we believe it works, even in our own company. Especially in our company. Moementum the firm needs us to take care of it, because the system is a stakeholder. When was the last time you convened your leadership for the hard work of strategy and alignment? How’d it go? I feel energized, excited, and not alone. #leadershipdevelopment #buildingculture #scaleyourbusiness
