    As various studies have concluded, women are less interested than men in managing their finances due to various economic and psychological reasons related to risk aversion, sociopolitical and biological factors, and income. This study reviews previous research findings related to the relationship between women and investments, as well as several economic and psychological reasons behind the gender gap on financial investing are presented. Surveys were used to identify the main reasons for…

    As various studies have concluded, women are less interested than men in managing their finances due to various economic and psychological reasons related to risk aversion, sociopolitical and biological factors, and income. This study reviews previous research findings related to the relationship between women and investments, as well as several economic and psychological reasons behind the gender gap on financial investing are presented.   • Untapped Potential: The Hispanic Talent Advantage

    In the U.S. Hispanics represent 18% of the population and only 4% of corporate executives. According to the US Census Bureau, Hispanics are 1 out of every 5 people in the U.S. and are estimated to drive close to 25% of the country’s GDP.

    To help Hispanic executives achieve their success, a Virtual Hispanic Jam, hosted by the IBM and We Are All Human was designed to provide additional insights. “Over the course of 33 hours on November 10-11, 2020, nearly 1,000 Hispanic leaders offered…

This program was the main requirement for current and future entrepreneurs and business owners interested in applying for grants and loans offered by the City of Niagara Falls - Department of Economic Development.
