Bluetune is a music sharing/streaming app that allows users to stream local music between devices using only bluetooth.

The app can be used wherever you are, regardless of connection, because it uses no cellular data or wifi at all. Blue Tune can be thought of as a local turntable.fm.

Bluetune uses blutooth technology to stream music from one "host" phone to upto 8 other "guest" phones. As displayed in the demo video above, Bluetune users can sign in as a "host" or a "guest". A host is someone that wouldbe streaming the music to his/her "guests" or listeners. A "guest" or a "listener" can choose from all "hosts" within their bluetooth range. The "host" can choose a song from their phone and that song will then be streamed to all "guests" connected to this particular "host". The most important aspect of the project is that it requires no wifi or cellular data at all, and everything is done solely through bluetooth, so this way you can use Bluetune whenever and wherever you want.
