What is Milwaukee? It’s the spirit of innovation and exploration that surges through a city where different cultures, ideas and perspectives continually converge. Sitting on the confluence of three rivers and A Great Lake, Milwaukee's water is a source of inspiration, a place to gather and celebrate, and a thread that weaves through our diverse and vibrant communities, stitching us all together. We collaborate—fearlessly, unfussily, with open arms. We innovate—boldly and creatively, but with reverence for the legacy of those who came before us. And we celebrate Milwaukee in all its forms. Visit Milwaukee partnered with Jenni Yolo, as our next featured guest for our video series "Milwaukee Made." Jenni Yolo, a DIY enthusiast, thrifter, and renovator, discovered her maker community upon returning to Milwaukee from New York City. She began by rehabbing old homes in the city, continuing to build her online brand, @ISpyDIY. Her journey led her to host the Magnolia Network TV show "Makeover by Monday" and open her store, Jenni Yolo Home, in Walkers Point. Milwaukee has provided the perfect environment for her business to flourish and for her to find a community she truly connects with.
