Guests were transported back in time as they entered, entertained by glittering dancers and circus performers. Newspaper boys heralded the headlines of the day and truly brought the 1920s atmosphere to life. A stunning wall of white flowers and glamorous art deco backdrops provided the perfect photo locations and started the party off right. Another highlight of the evening was the drinks! A cocktail bar staffed by Limelight Catering’s talented bartenders customized drinks to each individual’s preferences, inviting guests to let loose and mingle. The venue, Chicago’s historic Old Post office, was elegantly decorated with velvet sofas and elaborate palms that transformed the space into something magical. Revel Decor’s attention to detail was evident in every aspect, from the opulent tablescapes to the ambient lighting that created a warm, inviting atmosphere. If there’s one thing The Revel Group loves, it’s combining art and community in a night of giving back. This May, we joined with ChiArts for a fabulous live-auction fundraiser raising money for the next generation of artists. ChiArts, or the Chicago High School for the Arts, provides an all-encompassing program of pre-professional training and rigorous schooling to Chicago’s young scholar-artists to prepare them for their future endeavors. Guests were treated to a delicious chef’s dinner courtesy of Limelight Catering but the real highlight of the evening was pop-up performances by several students, including poetry readings and music. The atmosphere was electric, filled with the joy and creativity of our vibrant community and the staff at ChiArts were thrilled with the evening: "Hi Sarah, It was lovely seeing you at our event and catching up for a minute. In late April, Revel organized a fundraising event for One Goal, featuring cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and dinner by Limelight Catering. Revel Decor decked out the space with beautiful dining tables and stunning spring florals. For Harrison’s bar mitzvah, we were thrilled to bring our A-game to his epic sports-themed party. Revel Decor transformed the venue into an athlete’s paradise, with foosball tables, hoops for basketball, and centerpieces of iconic sneakers. Personalized touches featured a funky graffiti wall and airbrushed hats featuring Harrison’s name, even a neon H completely filled with dozens of soccer balls. Welcome to the Jungle! Or should we say the Concrete Jungle? As 2023 came to a close, Revel had the privilege of designing a jungle-themed corporate party for a prominent Chicago firm at the iconic Lincoln Park Zoo. From the moment the doors swung open, guests were whisked away on a wild adventure filled with adrenaline and adventure. Following a custom-designed event map around the premises, guests embarked on a personal safari to every corner of the zoo. The Main Mall boasted the Watering Hole; where cocktails, passed snacks, and rotating musical entertainment excited guests all night. Meanwhile, Revel transformed the South Lawn into an Urban Oasis, offering food, drink, and relaxation. And our personal favorite, the Lion House became Wild at Heart: an electrifying dance floor surrounded by majestic creatures. Mixed with bright reds, yellows, and greens, the Zoo set the stage for an evening of wonder. Safari greeters guided guests through the zoo, ensuring no one missed a beat of the action. DJs performed on the central stage located at the Main Mall,  while pop-up electric violin performances dazzled guests at the Urban Oasis. If that wasn’t enough to drop your jaw, we added caricaturists, face-painters, and animal-themed four-legged stilt walkers to truly make the party unforgettable. From woodfired pizza, to sushi stations, or gyro and empanada makers, there were feasts piled high everywhere the guests turned.  Thank you to everyone who joined us in the Concrete Jungle, we hope you had a roaring evening in our wild oasis!
