WOW! Last night, Cristo Rey Jesuit High School celebrated ¡VIVA! 2024 and it was a huge win. With 480 folks in the room, we raised 20% more than our goal amount and our honorees and student speakers captured the audience. Thank you to all those who committed their support and made an impact! Happy 125th anniversary to the The Anti-Cruelty Society! They hosted a beautiful gala at The Geraghty March 9. A highlight of the night was meeting Ajax, a Plott hound mix and media star, who was discovered standing loyally over his deceased owner's body last year. He now has a very loving home.....it's a beautiful story. This nonprofit was created in 1899 and is one of the oldest shelters in Illinois.
