It's the time for all the final touches. Teal's partners at #Ameraproducts closed in the building with installing the final exterior glass bifold doors which allowed our millwork partner #Albrecht to continue with their work. The Lobby Parts and Service desk was installed and the front elevation received #diamondplate veneer. The rain last month did hinder some of the final sitework tasks which includes regrading and paving the existing temporary facility however we were able to dewater and dryout to keep moving after a couple of days. STEEL ERECTION: Our #Helfman #Ford Parts Building is coming to life with the steel being erected. The pre-engineered metal building is a two-story structure that will serve as a new Parts Building for customers, internal call center, service back counter, and parts storage. The 10,000 SF second floor mezzanine provides much needed additional space for this dealership. Our partners at #M2Steel have done a fantastic and safe job at the erection process. We cannot wait to see this building continue to progress. PROGRESS ALERT - Teal is making headway on the building envelope at our #Payne #Volkswagen dealership in Brownsville, TX. The waterproofing behind the ACM panels has been installed and the structure for the curtain wall is currently being installed. Once completed we can start installing the glass to fully dry in the building. This will allow for us to start up the HVAC systems and continue with finishes in the interior once climatized. FOUNDATION TIME: Teal Corpus has been doing the underground work and recently poured the foundation for the addition to Fulton Elementary School. The foundation is complex due to the proximity to the water, soil make up, and existing site logistics. We have started constructing the CMU demising wall between the existing school and new addition as well. This is the first of multiple projects that will be at this campus. This significant project, funded by a bond, marks the first major construction since the initial building. Teal is the CMAR for the Aransas County ISD Bond and will be working here at the elementary school and the Aransas County High School. This bond was designed by our partners at #ClaycombArchitects.
