The Texas Association of Community Health Centers (TACHC) is a private, not-for-profit membership association committed to advancing equitable access to quality healthcare in Texas by supporting and advocating for community health centers (also known as Federally Qualified Health Centers, FQHCs, or health centers). TACHC is the federally designated Primary Care Association for Texas and assists members in providing high-quality, comprehensive primary care and addressing the full spectrum of health center needs so they can focus on patient care. TACHC's 79 members strive to meet the healthcare needs of the uninsured and underserved at over 650 delivery sites and operate in Texas's urban, rural, and frontier areas, all with the mission of advancing access to healthcare for all Texans.

The Lone Star Circle of Care Big Pink Bus is rolling into Taylor, Texas on Friday, July 12 (parking lot of Walgreens at 1610 N Main Street) to provide members of the community with mobile mammograms. To make an appointment, please call 1-844-PINK-BUS or send an email to bigpinkbus@lscctx.org (must be age 40 or older and have not had a mammogram in the last 12 months)!

I��ve been on the Board of Directors for Lone Star Circle of Care (LSCC) for a long time now, yet every year when we do our annual retreat, it’s a wonderful occasion where I learn something new. This organization truly serves all people, including our most vulnerable, in Williamson County and across Our State. We all know quality healthcare is hard to find, especially for the Medicaid population. I believe the reason why LSSC can do this at such a high level is due to the quality people it has on its board and staff. It’s always important to reflect on the work being accomplished and what is being achieved. Glad to have retreats like this one to take time and focus on what we can do better as a FQHC in service to All Texans.

Great article on our member @TOMAGWA Around $601 million in primary health care grants was distributed to Texas entities as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, however, TOMAGWA Healthcare Ministries did not receive any funding.
