Jump start your career with this full-time, academic program at The University of Akron where you will learn how to sterilize medical instruments and equipment properly and carefully and more. The Summa Health Smart Start Program will pay full tuition and fees for Smart Start Program students. Following graduation and passing a certification test, you will get to work at Summa Health for one year as a full-time central sterile processing technician, playing a vital role in ensuring the safety of our patients and medical staff.
