I recently found a 1987 copy of "The Insider's Guide to the Colleges."
The intro of the book included the line "As costs at the most expensive private colleges approach the $15,000 mark, fewer and fewer families can foot the bill without some sort of student aid."
It's pretty wild to go back in time and see colleges costs, acceptance rates, and enrollments from over 35 years ago.
