As the prosperity of our world is coming to a halt due to the accumulation of crises and the critical global context, we deeply believe that we urgently need women’s commitment in the decision-making spheres. Organized by KAS Adela and Salma Dialogue and taking place this week in Villa La Collina at Lake Como,Italy, SALMA Dialogue for Gender Equality 2024 is giving the space to decision makers and representatives of governments and international organization, civil society and the private sector from 13 countries and 3 continents, to design the pathway for a more inclusive cooperation to address this challenging situation within the frame work of the SSTrC . Face to the critical global context, especially in the Middle East region, we deeply believe that we need urgently more women in decision-making spheres. It is in this context that was held from October 22 to 25_in Casablanca, SALMA Dialogue for Gender Equality Conference: « Inclusive Governance and Innovative Leadership: a Catalyst for Gender Parity ». Organized by KAS Adela and Salma Dialogue this event brought together leaders, experts and official representatives. The participation of Mrs Aawatif Hayar, Minister of Solidarity, Social Integration and Family and Mr. Abdellatif Maazouz, President of the region of Casablanca-Settat, showed the deep political commitment to equality of the Kingdom of Morocco. Coming from Latin America, Africa, USA & Europe, our participants disussed during three days about : - Designing the pathways to gender parity in high leading positions, - Inclusion mechanisms & governance, - Funding women in business, - Trade & diplomacy as an accelerator for gender inclusion, - and Milestones for parity in high value-added sectors.
