🌿 Burdens Creek is transforming into a vibrant, eco-friendly oasis, marking significant progress at Hub RTP. Recently, our partner Surface 678 won a general design award from the American Society of Landscape Architects for their work on this progress. 🌳 What started as a channelized storm drain has been enhanced into a recreational amenity, deploying sustainable landscape design principles to mitigate storm surge demand while increasing biodiversity. 🐝 Our stormwater meadow, featuring native plants and a network of connected boardwalks, is shaped, providing a natural habitat for pollinators and a serene space for all to take in. 🥦🥒🫑 We are thrilled to announce that starting Saturday, July 6, the South Durham Farmer's Market will be relocating to the Hub RTP campus. 🛍️ From 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the 500 Park Offices Drive parking lot (next to the Hub RTP Experience Center), you can come out to support our local farmers and artisans. Hub RTP is designed to be the downtown of Research Triangle Park, a central hub that brings together work, play and connection. This new location for #SoDu's farmers' market will energize our community, creating a vibrant atmosphere filled with fresh produce and local goods!
