🌿 Burdens Creek is transforming into a vibrant, eco-friendly oasis, marking significant progress at Hub RTP. Recently, our partner Surface 678 won a general design award from the American Society of Landscape Architects for their work on this progress. 🌳 What started as a channelized storm drain has been enhanced into a recreational amenity, deploying sustainable landscape design principles to mitigate storm surge demand while increasing biodiversity. 🐝 Our stormwater meadow, featuring native plants and a network of connected boardwalks, is shaped, providing a natural habitat for pollinators and a serene space for all to take in. The enhancements not only improve the environmental health of the area but also create a community space that aligns with the forward-thinking vision of Hub RTP.🛠️ Drone footage by Press Rec | Ryan Timms #BurdensCreek #ConstructionUpdate #Sustainability #HubRTP #EcoFriendlyTransformation
