During her time there, she was asked to assist in the opening of the original Pastis. Following the opening, she returned to The Odeon, where she went on to become Maître d'. The critically acclaimed restaurant that anchored Manhattan's Meatpacking District for nearly 15 years brings its signature "je ne sais quoi" vibe to D.C.'s Union Market District. Invoking the spirit of the original, the design features an iconic curved zinc bar, white subway tiles, and vintage mirrors showcased throughout the space. The menu combines unfussy simplicity with refined flavors, featuring classics like Onion Soup and unexpected additions like Beer-Battered Fish & Chips with Triple-Cooked Chips, unique to the Washington, D.C. location.
