The insurance industry had been a staple in Jaclyn’s home for as long as she can remember, so it's not a shock that she joined this world as well. She started in the insurance industry in 2018 and came to PCS in 2021. Jaclyn has said, “working for this company has been such a delight and I have gained so much more knowledge over these last few years. I am so excited to take on this role permanently and continue expanding my knowledge in the insurance industry.” Help us congratulate Jaclyn on her new role as Onboarding Coordinator! Aside from insurance, her other roles in life are Mother and Wife! She has been married for almost seven years this December and they have two beautiful children: five-year-old daughter, one-year-old son & a four-legged daughter! Jaclyn is originally from Orange County, CA but has spent most of her life in DFW. After years of living in DFW, they recently moved North to escape the constant traffic and construction of the metroplex! In her free time she enjoys staying in their camper lakeside and visiting family back in California. Congratulations, Jaclyn!! Work/Life balance is critical. Nothing is more important that your health…physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Make sure to recognize this every day and strive to maintain balance which promotes health and prosperity in all these areas. Here are some points to consider: - Get adequate sleep. Try to average 8 hours per day. - Drink plenty of water. According to the Mayo Clinic: • About 15.5 cups (3.7 liters) of fluids a day for men. • About 11.5 cups (2.7 liters) of fluids a day for women. - Get at least 3 hours of some form of exercise per week. - Try to eat a reasonably balanced diet. - Consume alcohol in moderation or not at all. - If you smoke cigarettes…quit. - Spend as much time as possible with your family and friends. - Engage in alone time with activities that calm or stimulate you such as reading or hobbies. - Meditate, pray, philosophize, or even…ponder life itself. VIP Software Hurricane Season Update 06/27/24 Nearly a month into the 2024 #hurricane-season, the Atlantic Basin is active. A Tropical Wave in the western Caribbean Sea is causing showers and thunderstorms as it moves west at 20 mph. Development in the northwestern Caribbean or southwestern Gulf of Mexico is possible, but it is unlikely to become a named storm. In the Eastern Tropical Atlantic, a Tropical Wave west-southwest of the Cabo Verde Islands is expected to develop into a Tropical Depression or Tropical Storm this weekend. Models suggest it could be the first Hurricane of 2024. Another Tropical Wave is emerging off the African Coast into the Main Development Region (MDR) of the Atlantic and will be monitored closely in the coming days.
