Education champion advocating for education equity. Veteran Organizer for voting rights, inclusive mobility, environmental justice, and basic needs in the nonprofit sector. Facilitator rooted in DEIB & J practices.
I’ve been involved with Mothering Justice since 2018 and I recently celebrated an amazing milestone with them. In my two years in my role as a Voter Engagement Organizer, I reflect on Mothering Justice’s commitment to providing policy advocacy resources for moms and caregivers. One of the great things about our work is building strong partnerships with organizations like Supermanority. The Supermajority community provides women with the information and resources to take action. I’m enthralled by organizations that put women first and empower them to become civically engaged. A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of joining Tashawna Gill and some other amazing women trailblazing our work this election season. We have a lot of work to do before November. Honestly, no matter who wins the presidency, women will STILL be doing the work. #womenfirst #blackmoms #voterengagement #mamasagenda #civicengagement #womenvoters #womeninpolitics #womenwhovote #reproductiverights #votingrights #votereducation

The Supreme Court ruled today that presidents have immunity from prosecution for any “official acts.” This basically means that presidents can commit crimes without being prosecuted — but only if the crimes were carried out using their official powers. The Supreme Court is responsible for upholding values to protect our country and it’s citizens. We are appalled at the decision made today that dangerously fails to do that.
