A 40% reduction in homelessness over 5 years in Philadelphia and the right support, at an earlier and earlier point, to achieve better outcomes. In 2017, there were over 7,400 people experiencing homelessness. Down to 4,489 in Dec 2022. "Your and Dan’s ability to define, collect and communicate metrics, paired with Arthur’s vision situated Philly’s BH system to be among the best in the Country, if not the world." David T. Honored to share insights on how AI is helping shape and change the economy including workforce development. Thank you Shannon Smith and Qiana Charles for including us.
Understanding the economic conditions in the communities we serve is vital to the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s mission to build a stronger economy for all Americans. That is why my colleague Qiana Charles and I were excited to sit down recently with representatives of some of Arizona’s leading industries. I’d like to thank the following business leaders for participating in the discussion: Irayda Flores, President and Founder of Pescaderia El Puerto De Guaymas; Minky Kernacs, Co-Founder and CEO of Mercurio Analytics; David Larson, CEO of Gomez Construction Group; and Jonathan Robles, Director of Alumni, Corporate and Foundation Relations at Estrella Mountain Community College. Qiana and I were especially grateful to Jeffrey Garza Walker, Executive Vice President of NAI Horizon, for hosting us. We had an informative conversation about topics central to the state’s current business climate including consumer demand, labor market conditions, and next generation technology like artificial intelligence.
