🌟 What an incredible day of fun and networking! 🌟 The Literacy Council of Fort Bend County eagerly embraced opportunities to connect with others in the adult literacy community during today's event—the first in-person literacy social networking event since 2020! 🎉 Hosted by The Mayor's Office for Adult Literacy, with support from CenterPoint Energy and the Houston Public Library, the atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and collaboration. It was wonderful to see so many passionate individuals and organizations coming together to share ideas, resources, and stories. Thank you to everyone who conquered bingo and speed networking with our Executive Director, Dedre Smith, and Program Director, Ashley Borjon. We look forward to many more opportunities to work together to advance adult literacy in our community! #MOAL2024 #AdultLiteracy #Networking #Community
