To answer this, we are hosting three free seminars on June 24th, 26th, and 28th. These seminars will highlight the importance of wildfire adaptation, offering attendees the chance to strengthen their networks, support efforts to create fire-adapted communities, and address the unique challenges faced by Latinos in Washington state. Webinar #1: Understanding the Wildfire Landscape in WA This training will provide an overview of wildfire adaptation efforts in Latino communities. Webinar #2: Financial Opportunities for wildfire adaptation Attendees will explore financial opportunities for local projects, learning about the types of support available, eligibility criteria, and the application process.
