🗣 Summit EXPO Recap! 🎉 Last week Plug and Play Tech Center hosted 3500+ attendees for our June Summit Event. This audience of Corporate Partners, VCs, and Startups from over 20 industry verticals attended exclusive sessions centered around pushing the boundaries of innovation. Our Travel EXPO kicked off with opening remarks from our own Amir Amidi and Kristi Choi, featured a few words from our newest partner Cathay Pacific, and a special announcement from UN Tourism. The EXPO featured an engaging keynote from Stephen Snyder, Managing Director of JetBlue Ventures who drove home a powerful message on sustainability in travel, an update from our portfolio startup Airalo represented by Jhon Ruiz Partnerships Director, and an illuminating dive into innovation in Airports with Aeroporti di Roma CEO, Marco Troncone. Our show was headlined by seven startups from our batch 17 program. A big thank you to the teams from Aphy (Alex Lamotte-Hysbergue), Alō Index, Badge (Eric Senn), FinMont Global (Suby Valluri), Replicant (Latif Horst), and TripAdd (Jake Kotzer) for presenting their game-changing solutions on stage! Additionally, our partner WestJet represented by Anne-Louise Brooks took home the Partner Award for their excellence in innovation. A special congratulations goes to the team of Anna Rose Feinberg and Leanne Turner, GTP from Alō Index for winning our Batch Startup Award!
