Last weekend, Big Brothers Big Sisters Independence Community-Based matches enjoyed a fantastic day at the Discovery Center with the Philadelphia Outward Bound School. The day began with engaging team-building activities, fostering connections and bonding among matches. In the afternoon, everyone had a blast canoeing on the reservoir. It was a day filled with fun, adventure, and unforgettable memories! #BeBig #LittleMoments #MatchMonday

🌟 Meet Joelle and Alana! 🌟 Big Sister Joelle and Little Sister Alana have been an incredible match through the Beyond School Walls Program at VideoRay: underwater robots since February 2023. Their bond is filled with laughter and joy, making every moment together special. From playing board games to sharing hilarious animal and baby videos, these two always find a way to have fun. Joelle says, "Alana is a perfect match for me and I think our personalities get along really well."

🌟 Highlights from one of our incredible Beyond School Walls Program! 🌟 Our Bigs and Littles from Adaptimmune and Cramer Hill Elementary School had an amazing year together! Last month, the Littles hosted their Bigs for a Reverse Day at Cramer Hill Elementary. Matches enjoyed a delightful catered lunch, followed by an adventurous scavenger hunt around the school. Littles were thrilled to receive prizes for completing the hunt! The following week, the matches wrapped up their year with a final meeting at Adaptimmune. After sharing a wonderful lunch, Bigs and Littles teamed up to create inspiring summer bucket lists, setting goals and dreams for the upcoming school year. We are so proud of the bonds formed and the memories made this year. Here’s to more adventures and growth in the future! #BeBig #LittleMoments
