HCAM had an eventful week celebrating our dedicated team members! A highlight was a special screening of the documentary "Understanding the Misunderstood" with director Matthew Cooper and with support from T. Rowe Price Foundation. The week culminated in our all-staff meeting, which celebrated anniversaries, core service awards and the presentation of the Lynell Medley Leadership Award, which this year honored the dedication of our Connector Program Deputy Director, Erica R. Our team members enjoyed connecting and engaging in wellness activities, including chair massages provided by Tocar Spa! I had the pleasure of joining Traci Kodeck, Caitlin Mulrine and other members of the HealthCare Access Maryland Team and colleagues at the Charles Theatre in #Baltimore for a viewing of the documentary by Matthew Cooper and Cooper Brothers Productions: Squeegee Kids: Understanding the Misunderstood. The film takes a deep dive into the history of squeegee kids in Baltimore City and how the past parallels with the present. It's a must see!
