Although this moment occurred a short while ago, I wanted to share it now because it was a significant experience that continues to inspire me. Thank you to Harlem Lacrosse for the opportunity to lead a panel alongside Clifford Pollard, where we had the opportunity to discuss the importance of diversity and equity in lacrosse, and why Harlem Lacrosse has been instrumental to our journeys. I've grown with this organization since 7th grade in Middle School when the Frederick Douglass Academy had no high school girls' team. I've been privileged to be part of the journey that was building both a girls' high school team and a national team. Now, as a rising junior at the University at Albany, I reflect on how grateful I am for my journey with HL. These experiences inspire me to give back, ensuring future students have even greater opportunities to succeed. ❤️

This past week was a poignant reminder of the power of community support thanks to Cabrini University, which is sadly closing its doors at the end of this month. We were incredibly fortunate to receive equipment and gear from Cabrini’s men's and women's lacrosse programs. Cabrini’s teams have shown remarkable success over the years, and their gesture of support ensures their legacy will continue to inspire and empower young athletes.
