CHAMPIONS.🏆 FAMILY. With their strength, toughness, and love for one another, our @bronxwritingacademyx323 & @mottjhs22 team wrote a story for the record books this year, winning the New York City MSAL Championship. After winning only one game the previous season, this team remained steadfast in their commitment to the program and each other. Focused on building a culture of selflessness and strong character, these girls truly became a family to win this championship. We are so incredibly proud of this team for their dedication and growth, showcasing what it means to be a true Bronx Lacrosse player. Community. Growth. Commitment.

We’re excited to share that Bronx Lacrosse Founder and Executive Director Dan Leventhal has been named to the City & State “Bronx Power 100” for the second consecutive year. This list recognizes local influential leaders who are working hard on behalf of their borough and make a difference in the lives of people in need. Under Dan’s Leadership, Bronx Lacrosse has helped hundreds of youth in the South Bronx improve their academics and develop their lacrosse & leadership skills. Surrounded by brick and concrete, Jordany Rosario-Pena has developed a sense like no other in the sport. Effortless. Creative. Curious. His skill and presence is felt strongly throughout his community, with younger generations constantly speaking highly of and working to mimic his expertise and inventive nature. His friends call him “Michael Jordany”, for his groundbreaking ability. Younger players call him inspirational as they copy his moves.
