Today, the Biden Administration announced that 12 recipients will receive $504 million in the first round of funding (Phase 2) for the Federal Tech Hub program. While the Baltimore Region's proposal was not funded in this round, we will receive a $500,000 federal grant to support our reapplication in the next round. The grant will provide us with additional time and capacity to strengthen our case for the next phase and continue our efforts to maximize the benefits of being selected as one of the 31 hubs in this highly competitive process.
