Country Malt Group and Great Western Malting have partnered with local recycling companies to recycle hundreds of thousands of empty malt bags each year in Vancouver, WA; Chicago, IL; and Champlain, NY. ♻ These empty malt bags will be upcycled into future plastic products, including new malt bags, helping us reduce our environmental impact. Last November, we collaborated with the Vancouver Bee Project to establish a new bee habitat at our Port of Vancouver malt plant and we already have pollinators buzzing around!
