Country Malt Group and Great Western Malting have partnered with local recycling companies to recycle hundreds of thousands of empty malt bags each year in Vancouver, WA; Chicago, IL; and Champlain, NY. ♻ These empty malt bags will be upcycled into future plastic products, including new malt bags, helping us reduce our environmental impact. Together, we're championing a sustainable future! If you're local to one of these distribution centers, contact your CMG rep to learn more and get started recycling with us! 📷: Trap Door Brewing in Vancouver, Washington

Why does barley quality matter? Because it's the foundation of flavor, aroma, and character in your favorite brews and spirits. Whether it's a crisp lager, a rich stout, or a smooth whiskey, great barley makes great fermented beverages possible. That's why the barley selected for processing into malt must meet our high-quality standards.
