In this blog, Tyler Spencer and Sayyed Manzer highlight how the SJY program, launched in 2018, leverages the Graduation Approach to tackle extreme poverty. They also outline lessons from the large-scale adaptation of the Graduation Approach with SJY. With SJY Jeevika leading the program, Bandhan-Konnagar providing technical guidance, and J-PAL South Asia offering knowledge and learning support, SJY has already reached 165,000 women-headed households and aims for 200,000, impacting millions.
