What a week at #CannesLions2024! Edelman came second in the Independent Network of the Year rankings, Edelman London came second in the Independent Agency of the Year rankings and was first in the Independent Agency of the Year rankings for the Good Track.    We won a Titanium Lion for DP World's 'The Move to Minus 15' and walked away with four Gold Lions, six Silver Lions, and five Bronze Lions for nine separate campaigns from EMEA, North America and APAC. You'll see us leading the charge in PRWeek's table rankings. This success is a testament to the hard work and creativity of our incredible team and our amazing clients. Over the last 10 years, since first attending the Lions Festival, we have evolved from a PR firm into a communications powerhouse. We are proud to create work that not only wins awards but drives meaningful change in business and society, proving that Trust Drives Growth and Action Earns Trust. Edelman Canada’s Gen Z Lab and Global Women’s Empowerment Network (GWEN) hosted a fireside chat to talk all things Gen Z. Broadcast across the country, this panel discussion was an opportunity for Edelman Canada staff to listen to their Gen Z colleagues explore various topics such as communication styles, collaboration and how to advocate for yourself, offering fresh perspectives and insight. Here are three takeaways from the event: Gen Z employees need to feel safe, confident and heard in the workplace. By intentionally crafting teams with diverse backgrounds, it ensures that various perspectives and voices can be heard and considered. As Gen Z enters the workforce and encounter news situations and stresses for the first time, they need to figure out how to take care of their mental health while growing their career. Creating places and spaces for Gen Z colleagues to talk openly and share how they best balance work and mental health is crucial.     21% of Gen Z adults identify as LGBTQ+ while 48% of Gen Z identify as non-white, making it the most multicultural generation in Canadian history. They have figured out how to best embrace their identities to bring their most authentic selves to the workplace.
