For the past year I have been fortunate to be a fellow in the Institute for Educational Leadership’s DC Education Policy Fellowship Program. This program has afforded me the opportunity to interact with leaders from all over the country in our nations capital throughout the year. Helping craft the future of education policy in this country. I often start every visit here with a run on the national mall. It provides a time to reflect, and appreciate all the sacrifices that have made our country what it is today and the important role we play training the next generation. #WPS24
