Just like when we became the first financial institution in the Mountain View community back in 2010, we are proud to be the first Alaska credit union north of the Arctic Circle! We recently poured the foundation for our new Wasilla Branch! It's so exciting to see this plan come to fruition. Last week, the Mat-Su Regional Spring Economic Summit was held in Wasilla, and we were proud to be a gold sponsor of the event. Discussion was robust, surrounding resources to support a growing borough. Wasilla will soon be CU1's newest branch community, and we are dedicated to fostering economic growth and community in the region! The opening of our new branch in late fall 2024 will not only provide convenient service for our members, but also create a meeting space for nonprofit organizations and employment opportunities for Alaskans.
