Let's ROK and Roll 🎸 🌊🤿 Nothing like a little international submarine squad bonding to make the ocean feel a bit safer. Submariners from the Republic of Korea Navy hit the decks of the USS Missouri for a tour!  It was all smiles and salutes as we came together for RIMPAC to share stories, learn from each other, and build stronger bonds under the sea! 🐠

Vice Adm. John Wade held his first all-hands call as Commander, U.S. Third Fleet (C3F) at C3F headquarters, Friday, June 14, 2024.

Fair winds and following seas to Vice Adm. Michael E. Boyle as he transferred command of U.S. 3rd Fleet to Vice Adm. John F.G. Wade today during a change of command ceremony. Vice Adm. Wade will serve as the 33rd commander of U.S. 3rd Fleet. U.S. 3rd Fleet promotes ongoing peace, security, and stability throughout the Pacific theater of operations.

The 29th biennial Exercise Rim of the Pacific kicks off June 27th in and around the Hawaiian Islands. RIMPAC, the world's premier multinational maritime exercise, is a unique training opportunity designed to foster and sustain the cooperative relationships that are critical to ensuring the safety of sea lanes and security on the world's oceans. #RIMPAC2024
