What a Pride filled weekend for CCHP!! Our staff, along with Children's Wisconsin were once again supporters of PrideFest Milwaukee. We were able to connect with many of our current members, and also had the opportunity to answer questions for potential members. We realize that diversity, and inclusion directly impact member health outcomes and their quality of life. We strive to be the health plan of choice for every community. Happy Pride!

We are proud to sponsor and volunteer at PrideFest along with Children's Wisconsin to emphasize our dedication to inclusion, diversity and improving the health and well-being of the individual adults, children and families we serve. We support and look forward to celebrating the LGBTQ+ community at Milwaukee PrideFest 2024. Make sure and stop by our booth and say hello.

We along with Children's Wisconsin were a proud sponsor of Madison Night in Milwaukee at The Garage located at the Harley Davidson Museum. This annual reception for businesses, and state elected officials is an opportunity to showcase the important work that is being done in Southeast Wisconsin. It also provides a platform to connect with community leaders about the programs and benefits available to our members.
Always one of the BEST celebrations of the year. Madison Night in Milwaukee brought together more than 400 this evening. Happy to be here to recognize all of our local and state legislators for the public service they provide and the good work they do. Thanks to Dale Kooyenga, Robin Vos Cavalier Johnson and David Crowley for their thoughts from the stage. Special thanks to our sponsors: ALLIANCE OF HEALTH INSURERS UA, Ascension, Children's Wisconsin, Chorus Community Health Plans, Greater Milwaukee Association of REALTORS®, Haribo, Harley-Davidson Motor Company, Marquette University, Medical College of Wisconsin, Molson Coors Beverage Company, Northwestern Mutual, Potawatomi Casino Hotel, Spectrum, Uber, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee, Usinger's Famous Sausage, Waukesha Metal Products, WEC Energy Group and the Wisconsin Center for Manufacturing and Productivity (WCMP).

Today with the help of our partners at the Social Development Commission (SDC) and the Clinton Foundation, we proudly share the news that there are newly installed Narcan (naloxone) dispensing boxes onsite at the SDC. These dispensing boxes, also called Overdose Aid Kits, (O.A.K.s), provide readily available, free, no questions asked, life-saving resources to people in the community. Because of our commitment to improving the health and well-being of the members and communities we serve, we want to be an active part in harm reduction efforts. By providing access to Narcan, we can aim to prevent opioid overdoses and save lives. Click here to learn more! https://lnkd.in/eJWHqsa3

Thank you Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity ReStore for welcoming our Chorus Community Health Plan’s staff into your Franklin and Wauwatosa locations this past week. We thoroughly enjoyed our time helping organize, clean up, and form connections with customers and ReStore employees throughout our time volunteering. We are very proud to partner with Habitat for Humanity and do our part in helping members of our community obtain safe and affordable housing. Thank you for all that you do!

CCHP is proud to announce Zach Eckdahl as our representative in the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) Leadership Academy Class of 2024! Zach is currently CCHP’s Commercial Product Operations Manager and has been with our organization in a variety of roles since 2017. While his experience is primarily within the Commercial and ACA space, he has had opportunities to collaborate with teams and individuals within CCHP’s Medicaid business more recently. Zach is looking forward to learning more about Medicaid policy through this engagement and we are excited for his contributions to the Academy and his fellow participants. Congratulations to Zach, and thank you to the Association for Community Affiliated Plans (ACAP) for this opportunity!
