🗓️Join the discussion tomorrow. Collective action is the only way to #EndChildhoodSexualViolence. #BeBrave so children globally can be safe. 🤝
Tomorrow I will be speaking at the launch of the #ChildrenInAdversity new #ThriveStrategy discussing the importance of interagency collaboration to protect children worldwide. At a time when one in four girls and one in eight boys experience sexual violence before their 18th birthday globally, we must have a steadfast response to this global scourge rooted in prevention, healing and justice. This new strategy shows that change is possible. Ending violence against children is possible. This bipartisan, inter-agency effort will change how the #USG supports children and families worldwide to ensure all children and adolescents are safe, protected and thriving.
