Bergman Walls & Associates reposted this
Eighteen years ago, I began my journey at Bergman, Walls & Associates as a project architect in Las Vegas. One of my earliest experiences included meeting Joel Bergman, AIA, who personally shared his vision for The Mirage as its design architect. This iconic project revolutionized the concept of integrated resort casinos, forever altering the Las Vegas landscape. Today, as The Mirage transitions to a new chapter led by Hard Rock Resorts, I reflect on Joel's influence and the quote I selected for one of my first projects on the Las Vegas strip at Caesars Palace: "OMNIA MUTANTUR - NOS ET MUTAMVR IN ILLIS" (Everything changes, and we are changed in them). This sentiment beautifully captures the dynamic nature of Las Vegas and the ongoing evolution of its architectural landscape. I look forward to seeing how Hard Rock shapes this new chapter, while cherishing the legacy of The Mirage and Joel Bergman's design vision. #TheMirage

Rooms with a view! Beginning next week (July 22) the highly-anticipated balcony rooms in the new Versailles Tower at Paris Las Vegas will be available for booking. The 445-square-foot rooms each feature a west-facing balcony with a view of the Las Vegas Strip (the Versailles Tower’s standard rooms also been renovated). Paris Las Vegas is the first casino resort on the Strip to feature balcony rooms since The Cosmopolitan opened in 2010. BWA is proud to be part of this exciting renovation project for the Paris Las Vegas (along with Klai Juba Wald Interiors) and to have worked with Caesars Entertainment on many of their hospitality and gaming properties over the years (BWA was also the original architect for the Paris Las Vegas, which celebrates its 25th anniversary this year). https://lnkd.in/gnFsyAgH #hospitalitydesign #lasvegascasinoresort #casinoresortdesign #lasvegashotels #hoteldesign

Congratulations, Snoqualmie Casino! #tribalgaming #milestone #hospitality #interiordesign #architecture
We celebrated a huge milestone in our hotel expansion! On June 14th, Skanska placed the highest beam at the top of our hotel. Snoqualmie Indian Tribe members, casino team members, and construction team members memorialized the moment by signing their names on the beam. We are one major step closer to finishing in 2025. To receive updates on our expansion, visit https://lnkd.in/gXH-VZqy to be a part of our distribution list.

It's a wrap for today! Tomorrow is the last chance to stop by the WIGA Northwest Indian Gaming Conference & Expo at Tulalip Resort Casino. BWA's Washington team, Principal, Director of Native American Projects, John Hinton and Senior Project Architect, Skyler Allen really appreciated the chance to meet up with old friends and new acquaintances, to greet everyone that stopped by on the expo floor. #WIGA2024 #associatemember #indiangaming #tribalgovernmentgaming #casinoresortdesign #hospitalitydesign #entertainmentdesign
