Members of Benesch's Healthcare+ team recently participated in the #ADSOSummit2024 held in Colorado. Throughout the week, they had the opportunity to engage with top dental industry leaders to discuss the latest trends and challenges impacting the dental world. During the summit, Benesch partner W. Benesch's Intellectual Property group was recently featured in The Licensing Journal! Their article, written by Mark Avsec, Megan Parker, Cole Hardy and Daniel Marks, explores a first-of-its-kind law, Tennessee's ELVIS Act, which provides protection against AI misappropriation of voices, images and songs. As they explain, the ELVIS Act represents an important first step toward legislation on and regulation of AI in the U.S. while promoting innovation of this evolving technology. Benesch's Healthcare+ Group hosted its Fourth Annual Nephrology and Dialysis Conference last week at the Union League Club of Chicago. The all-day event attracted more than 250 attendees and featured 20 exhibiting companies, along with two presenting sponsors, Cormedix Inc. and Somatus. The conference began with a Dialysis Legislative Update and included a series of panels addressing a range of timely topics such as Physician Integration Strategies, Value-Based Care (VBC) Models, Chronic Care Management, the Future of AI Advances, Tax Planning and Companies to Know.
