It's important not to kid yourself that you can be across all new digital learning, all of the time - you have other work to do and that's ok. Taking a small amount of time each day or week to maybe read that email about the latest learning AI tech, or find a really short video on YouTube explaining the basics of a new learning tool can go a long way to building your awareness and - importantly - your curiosity. Finally, if you have an L&D team, talk to them! Too many executives think they're too busy / too experienced / too embarrassed to engage with their L&D teams for their own benefit. It's ok to want to learn; you likely have the best source of continuous learning right on your doorstep. Drop the ego and learn from those who know!
Applying new knowledge is just as important as acquiring it. After learning a new digital skill or concept, look for opportunities to implement it within your organization. This practical application reinforces your learning and demonstrates its value to your team. It also allows you to lead by example, showing that you're not just learning for the sake of it but to make tangible improvements in your work environment.

This question stumped me. Why is this even a question? We have at least for the last decade been digital if not more. We shop book travel, order food, call a cab, etc. through apps. We receive reports, read eBooks, and get information on the Internet for a very long time. So why is digital learning an issue? I am not sure if I am missing something!
