Victoria is a special young lady whose dream is to one day be a marathon runner. She's also looking for her forever home.

"I've always loved running, I used to run barefoot around my backyard," Victoria said, who's on the run and making great strides in achieving two goals.

She wants to be a marathon runner who'll one day run through the front door of a home where her new parents will greet her with open arms.

"I really just need someone to accept me and just be there, love me, and support me with my goals and dreams for my future."

The 17-year-old is definitely a determined young lady who's full of energy.

"I'm just really open-minded in general, so a free spirit."

These days, though she's the only one on the trail, don't be surprised if one day she's participating in events like the Boston Marathon.

"I one day see myself running a marathon in all 50 states. It's actually a bucket list goal."

Victoria isn't the type to get lost in a crowd and it won't be too long before she pulls away from the pack and crosses the finish line and is rewarded with a forever family.

Victoria says she would love to meet a potential adoptive family and get to know them first.
