September 9 - Medway Park, which successfully staged a Modern Pentathlon World Cup in April, has earned the right to host next year’s European Championships.

September 2 - Britain will have three women in Saturday’s (September 4) Modern Pentathlon World Championships final in China after Heather Fell, Samantha Murray and Freyja Prentice all qualified from today’s semi-finals.

August 23 - Modern pentathlon is set to undergo another radical change in its format for the London 2012 Olympics after a successful trial of laser guns instead of air pistols at the inaugural Summer Youth Olympic Games here.
July 18 - Britain’s Sam Weale (pictured) won the individual silver medal at the Modern Pentathlon European Championships in Debrecen today.
September 14 - Britain¹s Heather Fell (pictured) finished agonisingly close to the medals in fourth place at the Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final in Rio de Janeiro.
THE format of the Modern Pentathlon is to be changed for London 2012 after the sport's governing body voted to combine the disciplines of shooting and running into one event.
Tickets have gone on sale for the 2009 Modern Pentathlon World Championships, which take place at the Crystal Palace National Sports Centre in London from August 13-17, it was announced today.
