A number of venues will be used in Maribor for the 11 sports on the Summer EYOF programme, as well as the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

Ljudski Vrt Stadium
Ljudski Vrt Stadium has a capacity of 12,500 and will be used for the Maribor 2023 Opening Ceremony.
It is the largest stadium in the city and the home of NK Maribor, the most successful team in Slovenian football.
The Closing Ceremony will be at Trg Svobode Square.
Poljane Athletics Stadium
Located in the Tabor Sports Park, track and field at Maribor 2023 will take place at the Poljane Athletics Stadium.
The stadium has been certified by World Athletics and is dedicated exclusively to the sport.
It has a surface area of 10,000 square metres and is well suited to both training and competition.
Pristan Swimming Centre
Swimming at Maribor 2023 will take place at the Pristan Swimming Centre.
The facility has an Olympic-size pool which meets the standards of World Aquatics.
It can also be used for diving and water polo, with a medium-size pool, small pool, saunas and a fitness centre also included.
Skatepark Maribor
Skateboarding will make its Summer EYOF debut in Maribor at the city's Skatepark.
It is suitable for competitions at the highest international level, with four main parts to the facility.
These are an upper platform with a pool, a lower platform featuring urban-style elements, a children's training area and a club area.
Tabor Sports Hall
The Tabor Sports Hall will host the artistic gymnastics competitions during Maribor 2023.
Since 1984, the venue has hosted more than 7,500 events, attracting more than six million visitors.
As well as the main hall, there is also a table tennis centre, a bowling alley, a fitness centre, a martial arts hall, a massage room, conference facilities and a restaurant.
It has hosted sports including basketball, volleyball and badminton.
Gymnastics training will take place at the Ice Rink Hall next door.
Leon Štukelj University Sports Centre
The girls' handball tournament during Maribor 2023 will take place at the Leon Štukelj University Sports Centre.
It features a large hall which can also be used for volleyball, basketball, badminton, futsal and table tennis.
Other halls are available for martial arts, aerobics and dance and squash.
There is also a climbing wall and Finnish sauna.
Branik Tennis Club
Tennis at Maribor 2023 will take place at the city's Branik Tennis Club.
It features 12 hard courts and an indoor hall with two additional courts.
This is a venue with history as the first court was built in 1901.
It boasts a "US Open" area featuring the DecoTurf used at the New York Grand Slam, as well as three playgrounds for children.
The Maribor Open has been hosted at the club.
Bike Park Pohorje
Mountain biking will make its Summer EYOF debut at Bike Park Pohorje.
It is the largest mountain bike park in Slovenia, featuring more than 10 kilometres of trails.
These range from beginner level to World Cup tracks.
Top-level competitions have been held at Bike Park Pohorje.
A new course will be used for the cross-country events at the Summer EYOF.
Maribor City and Airport
Cycling's road races at Maribor 2023 will take place on a course taking in the city's streets.
Maribor is used to hosting some of cycling's biggest names at the Tour of Slovenia race.
The individual time trials will be held at Maribor Airport.
Draš Sports Centre
Volleyball at Maribor 2023 will be held at the Draš Sports Centre.
The venue at the foot of the Pohorje mountain range has space for two full-size courts.
It can also host badminton and basketball, while there is an indoor football pitch and fitness centre.
Vrbanska Sports Hall
The boys' handball tournament during Maribor 2023 will take place at the Vrbanska Sports Hall.
This new and modern facility can be divided into three playing areas, separated by curtains.
There is space for three handball courts, while it can also host badminton, volleyball, basketball and football.
An indoor field hockey pitch can also be accommodated.
Leon Štukelj Square
The debut of 3x3 basketball at the Summer EYOF will take place at Maribor's Leon Štukelj Square.
This is the largest square in Slovenia at 9,000 square metres and lies in the centre of the city.
It only opened in 2011 and is dedicated to Leon Štukelj, the gymnast considered as the greatest Slovenian Olympian after his three gold medals for Yugoslavia across the 1924 and 1928 Games.
Other cultural and sporting events will also take place in the square during the EYOF, adding to the atmosphere.
