Wanted: An Irish farming experience – Oregon ranchers looking to swap saddles for shamrocks

The couple are hoping that working on an Irish farm will give them a new perspective and new ideas to bring home to their ranch.

The couple don’t own a tractor or any farm buildings, and do most of their farm work on horseback.

Two American farmers are hoping to swap working on their Oregan cattle ranch to work for free on an Irish farm next month. Morgane and Sean Chambers are offering their services to any Irish farmer, in exchange for learning how agriculture is practiced in Ireland.

The married couple farm a cattle ranch in the town of Lakeview in the Warner Mountains, right on the intersection between Oregon, Nevada, Idaho and California.
