On his Westmeath farm, Padraig Browne is at a crossroads. The third-generation dairy farmer was one of the first among his peers to use a sustainable model on his farm.

While he’ has been able to catch up in profits, he wonders how long he can find motivation for the work he’s doing without much State support.
