After spending the past 41 years transforming a 100-year-old derelict cottage into her dream home, North Clare woman Toby Sachsenmaier knows a thing or two about renovation.

Chief among the knowledge she has picked up over the years is that renovating a derelict cottage is hard, it’s time-consuming and it’s not for everyone.
