TWs: Mean girls, suicide, suicidal thoughts.

(Just to name a few!)

This Freida fan had to work hard to enjoy "The Coworker".

WHY?
I much prefer my Freida thrillers to be trigger-free.

Overall, the book's twists were predictable and the book lacked the sizzle that one can expect from a well-plotted thriller penned by this talented author.

I listened to the audiobook read by Alyson Krawchuk.

Although narrator Alyson Krawchuk did a fine job with the narration, the book would have benefited from two narrators since it unfolded from two POVs.

2.5 stars, rounded up.

Rachel Hanes I agree Jayne! This thriller contained some heavy topics, that took the “thrill” away. While this book started off well enough for me, I was left feeling very underwhelmed. There were way too many triggers! Terrific and fair review, Jayne!

Margaret M - (too far behind to catch up although trying to spend more time on GR) We can’t be doing with a book that lacks the ‘sizzle’ I hope you enjoy your next one more. Excellent review Jayne 💖
