This is the first volume I've read without reading it online first, so everything was new to me. I still managed to read it too fast, though. 😅
I love Nick and Charlie, and their friends, so much. They have come a long way since the beginning of the story and they have really grown as characters, especially Charlie. I loved how some more serious and mature topics are handled here. As with the previous volumes, a lot can be learned here about communication, being supportive and accepting people for who they are.
But what I loved the most is that, despite facing new challenges, Nick and Charlie are still so sweet and adorable with each other. This was just as heartwarming as the rest of the series.
Looking forward to volume 6!

Yay, love to see the 5 stars, Snjez! I adored book 1,2 and 3 but have yet to read 4 and 5. I'll have to start from the beginning though, it's been a while. Lovely review!

Just came today, on paper. Bought it for my teen daughters because they’re big Alice Oseman’s fans. Can’t wait to read it too. I’m happy it’s just as good and that you enjoyed it, Snjez. ❤️

Lovely review, Snjez! I’m so excited to read this one. My copy arrived a few weeks back but I decided to save it for the new year. Like you, I haven’t read any of this one (for the first time) online, so I’m excited to see what’s to come for Nick and Charlie. Their sweetness and mad communication skills are unmatched. 😍😍😍

Yes!! Rereading is the key! :D And I still have to read the novel Nick and Charlie, but I think I'll wait until the comic is finished because it's set after that. Have you read that one?

I have to say that it felt kind of weird reading about them in this stage of their relationship. I've reread volumes 1-3 so many times, that the image I have of them in my head is a bit different. 😂 Obviously, they grow up and everything, but I think that the first three volumes will always be my favourite.
I hope we won't have to wait too long for volume 6. 🤞
