I started reading Sense and Sensibility two separate times a couple of years apart. I tried, I really did, I just wasn't into it and I couldn't bring myself to finish it. I didn´t care at all about anything on it and I got bored. Sense and Sensibility is loved by so many people that I though I would be the same, but I was wrong. I don't know why I can't connect to it and I am kind of mad at myself for it, thus I am not giving it a rating.
It´s such a disappointment for me since Pride and Prejudice is amongst my favorite books of all time.

Melindam I am sorry you did not like it. But it happens. :)

Natalie I don’t really like it either. Strange because I LOVED P&p.

Erica I fully support your lack of love for this story.

The Distracted Bee Maybe try one of the adaptions? (Emma Thompson, etc.)

At this point, I am not even interested in watching the movie, but I guess I will sometime...

Anne Shhh. Don't feel bad. I could never get through this one easily until I used an audiobook. It's pretty dull, truth be told.

It is a classic, so I do feel sometimes like I am suppose to like it, even though rationally I know different.
The audiobook is a good idea.
